AMS adds Solas propellers

All Marine Spares takes on Solas propeller distribution in all states except WA.

Leading marine parts supplier All Marine Spares has announced it is taking on the local distribution for the well-known Solas range of marine propellers.

The new agreement includes distribution of all Solas stainless steel and aluminium propellers throughout Australia except for Western Australia where Michael Constantine from Just Propeller will continue his support of Solas in that state.

Founded by Dr. Solas Y.J. Lin in 1986, the Taiwanese manufacturer is one of the best-known and most highly-regarded names in propellers for all types of outboards and stern drives. The company exports to dozens of countries and is known in the marine industry for the quality of its manufacturing and break-through designs.

To further support the new distribution arrangement, AMS has appointed Larry Diamond as its new general manager of propulsion. Diamond is well-known in the industry for his expertise in propulsion and the Solas product range in particular.

“Larry is one of the most-respected people in the industry when it comes to propulsion and being able to specify the correct prop for maximum performance. His appointment as general manager for propulsion continues our focus on providing the best advice coupled with the highest quality technical products.
