Mercury's OptiMax 150 ProXS

MERCURY has released its all-new OptiMax 150 ProXS, the latest addition to the company's line-up of high performance direct-injected outboards.

Just like the rest of the ProXS range, the new 150 is designed to deliver higher top speed, increased acceleration and enhanced boat performance.

It’s also been given a VELS 3-STAR rating for ultra-low emissions.

In testing, the 150 ProXS more than lives up to its name. Compared to the standard 150 OptiMax, Mercury says the 150 ProXS delivers another 4 km/h at top speed while still producing blistering holeshot performance.

Mercury also claims the 150 ProXS boasts better fuel economy than the competition throughout the power band, especially at cruise speed.

The 150 ProXS is a lightweight at 195kg and features a 2.5 litre, V-6 design to deliver an impressive power-to-weight ratio.

It's available in both 20” (L) and 25” (XL) shaft lengths.
