Nebo adds new ways to share
Auto logbook app updates with new features for boaters to connect.
The Nebo boating app has added new features designed to make it easier for boaters to connect and share information.
Designed primarily as an automatic logging tool, the app also makes it possible for users to interact with other boater to share voyages and photos, ask questions or arrange to meet-up.
Developers of the app say the new features are in response to feedback from users globally and are aimed at building a safer and more connected global boating community.
Information sharing between users can happen automatically or only when they decide to share. Friends are identified on Nebo’s mapping interface with a distinctive yellow icon making them easy to find and communicate with. Users can also decide not to interact with friends in Nebo while still having access to all of the voyage logging functionality.
With an average of 1,000 downloads per week from around the world, users are encouraged to provide feedback on Nebo's feature-list in order to drive future developments. Feedback can be directed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The app is free to download at www.nebo.global, or by searching for “Nebo” on the Apple or Android app stores.
