Yamaha launches new TV Campaign

YAMAHA Motor Australia has released a new TV campaign set to run nationally over the remainder of 2011. Yamaha said the commercial focuses on the strength of its overall brand and highlights its products’ reputation for reliability.

“There’s no doubt the outboard market is very competitive at the moment,” said Grant Binskin national marketing coodinator for Yamaha Marine Products.

“But we still strongly believe Yamaha outboard motors offer customers significant advantages in terms of quality and reliability. That’s what we’ve attempted to focus on in this commercial.”

The campaign focuses on the ability of Yamaha’s outboard motors to “Go the Distance”, showing the story of a father and son, from purchasing the boat and motor when the boy is very young, to the point where the grown up boy becomes the one encouraging his father to get out of bed and get the boat on the water. Over this period of time the boat and motor, a Yamaha F70A, remains constant, conveying the long term reliability and performance of the engine.

The TV commercial can be viewed here.

“Boating, and the activity that goes with it, is a great way to spend time with family and friends. For long term enjoyment, choosing an engine you have full confidence in and can rely on completely, is an important decision all customers have to make when buying a new boat. Yamaha outboards go the distance like no other.”
