IN the lead up to the launch of the Whitehaven Motor Yachts 6000 Sunbridge at this year’s Sydney International Boat Show, Whitehaven Motor Yachts continues its strategic development with the appointment of two new dealerships who recognise the appeal of this bespoke brand.

Empire Boat Sales located at the award-winning Empire Marina at Bobbin Head, will represent Whitehaven Motor Yachts in the NSW market and Spirit Marine located at Manly, will boost the marque’s representation in Queensland.

Director, Keith Hanson said: “We’re excited about the arrival of our new 6000 Sunbridge that we’re certain will impress those looking for a new direction in a luxury open flybridge motor yacht.

“To assist with the growth of our brand and our product range, we’re equally excited to welcome Jason Ash and Nicky Vaux from Empire Boat Sales and Lee Randall and the team from Spirit Marine to strengthen our national retail presence. Both were selected after careful consideration, as we feel they match our bespoke, premium ownership experience.”

Darren Vaux, director of Empire Marina at Bobbin Head commented that Empire place considerable emphasis on the quality and reputation of the brands they represent, and are excited about promoting the Whitehaven brand in NSW.

“We see a lot of premium brands come through our Bobbin Head marina and never before have we seen a product with the attention to detail of the Whitehaven range. The premium client focused ethos of the Whitehaven brand matches our premium service philosophy.

“We’re looking forward to presenting the three motor yachts in the 6000 range at the upcoming Sydney International Boat Show – the 6000 Coupe, 6000 Sunbridge and 6000 Flybridge which we know will strike a chord with buyers seeking premium product with unmatched ability to customise.”

Lee Randall, director at Spirit Marine said the addition of Whitehaven to their complement of brands is “a new direction for the business”, and something he is excited to embrace.

“We recognise Whitehaven as a brand that aims to stand apart from its competitors, with a combination of fantastic design and soul, meaning iit offers unique levels of customisation, a finish of superyacht calibre and valuing its clients. It’s a new adventure for us and we’re excited about it.”

The visionary new 6000 Sunbridge is the third model release from the Whitehaven marque, founded by respected boating industry proponent, Keith Hanson. It will feature European styling crafted to suit the laid-back Australian lifestyle and approach to boating.

Whitehaven has positioned itself as a bespoke boat buying and ownership experience, with impeccable quality of build and unrivalled levels of customisation.

In further exciting news, Whitehaven will soon reveal plans for additional model releases under the Coupe, Sunbridge and Flybridge segments and a further major announcement to coincide with the Sydney International Boat Show.

The Whitehaven range offers a luxury motor yacht to suit the needs of the most discerning boat owner in a range of sizes from 50 to 90 feet. Every model will offer multiple accommodation layouts with further opportunities to embrace customisation, innovation and technology.

Currently on the drawing board for Whitehaven Motor Yachts is the compact 5000 model in response to client feedback and a genuine niche in the market.

The Whitehaven Motor Yacht's 6000 Sunbridge will be unveiled at the Sydney International Boat Show, running from 30 July to 3 August.

“Drop by our stand during the boat show and get to know the Whitehaven brand and what it stands for,” says Hanson. “We are certain you’ll be impressed by the superior quality of the finish and the level of customisation we offer as standard.”
