WETSS and AMI Marine named Tecnicomar's leading distributor

WETSS and parent company AMI Marine were recently named as Tecnicomar’s leading distributor for 2011 and were rewarded with additional distribution agreements for Vietnam and New Zealand.

A little over a year ago the AMI Marine group setup a subsidiary company to focus on water treatment and environmental solutions. AMI Marine said this investment has paid off, and in WETSS’ (Water, Environmental Treatment Systems/Solutions) first full year of operation, the company has already claimed top spot on Tecnicomar’s distributor list, both in value and number of units shipped.

Tecnicomar was quick to realise the great work ” WETSS” and AMI Marine were doing and recently rewarded it with additional distribution agreements for Vietnam and New Zealand.

Tecnicomar’s range of IMO/MARPOL approved Ecomar sewage treatment plants, are the system of choice or commercial operators around Australia, with 15 Ecomar systems delivered this financial year. The first half of the New Year is already shaping up to be a similar success story for WETSS and AMI Marine, with almost a dozen desalinators and Ecomar systems already slated for delivery throughout January and February 2012.

“The Tecnicomar range has been selling extremely well and we now have Tecnicomar desalinators and sewage treatment plants operating 24/7 around Australia, New Zealand, the Pacific and South East Asia,” said Peter Byrne GM WETSS.

“A diverse range of Australian companies such as Richardson Devine Marine, Fine Entry Marine, Bhagwan Marine, Pacific Tug, Clean Seas Tuna, Sydney City Marine and the importer of Ferretti Motor Yachts select Tecnicomar products based on their reliability, simplicity, ease of use and value for money,” said Byrne.

“It also helps that they know we stand behind what we sell and offer after sales service with factory trained technicians anywhere in the world.”

Tecnicomar is Europe’s oldest desalinator manufacturer and has been manufacturing desalinators since 1978. In 2004 Tecnicomar patented and introduced the Ecomar range of sewage treatment plants to the international market and this year the warranty on Tecnicomar equipment has been extended to two years.
