Trailer boats back at Rosehill Racecourse
Long-running end-of-season trailer boat show returns after missing last year.
The Sydney Trailer Boat Show returns to Rosehill Gardens Racecourse this coming weekend, featuring more than 30 exhibitors with over 250 boats on display at the free-to-enter event.
The show is the longest-running boat show in NSW having previously been staged for many years at Silverwater Park where it was known as The Great Silverwater Boat Show before moving to Rosehill Racecourse in 2004. In 2014 it transferred to Sydney Showgrounds at Homebush. The show was not held last year.
The show has traditionally been seen as an opportunity for local dealers to move excess stock at the end of the summer to make room for the year's new releases.
“The Rosehill Trailer Boat Show brings together the leading dealers from across Sydney and beyond, all ready to make a deal with existing boat owners wanting to make a trade-in, or with new boaties doing some research or making their first purchase,” said Alan Blake, BIA president. “They may even consider a pre-loved boat.”
Other attractions scheduled for the event this year include Australia's largest fishing demonstration tank, information and guidelines on fishing from the NSW Department of Primary Industries, and the Old4New lifejacket program which will be operating onsite.
The show is open between 10am and 5pm on 7-8 April 2018. Entry is free, there is free parking on site and trains run to Rosehill station adjacent to the show’s entrance.
