Tallon appoints new German distributor

TALLON has appointed German marine electronics distributor Elektro-Navigation Schick & Co. GmbH  (Ferropilot) as a distributor for the Tallon range of mounting solutions and accessories.

The new partnership will see Ferropilot distribute Tallon products to both the aftermarket as well as to Germany’s leading boat and caravan manufacturers.

Ferropilot MD Bernhard Schick said the Tallon product range is a good fit for Ferropilot particularly with Tallon’s latest range of Electronics mounts.

“We’re pleased to be able to offer this great marine accessory brand as part of our already extensive catalogue of marine electronics products – allowing us to provide users with a wide range of mounting solutions to the marine, RV & caravan markets here in Germany,” said Schick.

Tallon Europe’s, Jerome Lombard said the appointment of Ferropilot will provide further opportunities for the growing Tallon brand.

“The Tallon Socket platforms are designed to accommodate a wide range of interchangeable accessories for entertaining, and power applications – enabling users to quickly and effortlessly install and swap out an endless range of electronics and mounting accessories whether they’re in a boat, vehicle, caravan or RV,” said Lombard.

“Ferropilot are a leader in Germany and have strong connections with leading German boat and caravan manufacturers, we see them being able to further develop our OEM lines.”

Ferropilot displayed the Tallon range to the German boating public at the recent Düsseldorf Boat Show, with particular attention given to the new Elite Socket with USB & 12volt connections.

The appointment of Ferropilot follows on from other distributor appointments for Tallon in the UAE and France announced late last year.
