New partnership seeks dealers for Kohler marine generators in Australia.

Local marine equipment supplier, Stella Systems, is partnering with marine generator manufacturer, Kohler Power Systems, to drive distribution of Kohler's marine generator products in Australia. As a result, Stella Systems is currently actively seeking partners to sell the Kohler Power Systems range.

“Our first priority is to develop a world-class dealer network to ensure the product is well-supported by trained technicians throughout Australia,” said David Tanner, general manager of Stella Systems. “Stella Systems is actively recruiting suitable local dealers throughout Australia and will then schedule an extensive dealer training program at the upcoming Sanctuary Cove Boat Show in May this year.”

Stella Systems said it will provide full training to the appointed dealers, with a focus on offering exceptional customer service and after-sales support. The company, which has offices in Brisbane and on the Gold Coast, is a well-established name in the Australian marine industry as a manufacturer, importer, and distributor of a range of marine equipment and maintenance products for both power and sailing vessels.

“Australia is an important market for our marine generators. Having Stella Systems on board as a distribution partner will help enhance the reach of our products in the market,” said Nickson How, area manager -marine, Kohler Power Systems Southeast Asia.

According Stella Systems, Kohler marine generators are known for their smaller size, quieter operation and lower vibration levels. Features include the new factory-installed Decision-Maker 3500 controller which allows the paralleling of two or more Kohler generators. This eliminates the need for expensive switchgear, costly add-ons, and complicated installations, which in turn translates to bigger savings in both cost and space.

The new agreement between the two companies is effective immediately with new dealer partners expected to be announced in coming months.
