STABICRAFT has appointed Northside Marine in Brisbane as its sole southeast Queensland dealer for its range of aluminium positive buoyancy boats.
Northside Marine MD Greg Nickerson said the whole team is delighted to become part of the Stabicraft dealer network, and that it was a fantastic opportunity for the company to offer its customers such a well respected and innovative brand of boat.
“The opportunity to get onboard with Stabicraft was a no brainer. We are excited about the future relationship with Stabicraft and will look to stock the popular Supercab, Fisher and Frontier models,” said Nickerson.
“Within Northside Marine, Bill Hull and Jason Comino will be Stabicraft’s ‘Brand Champions’. They are both excited by the challenge and are looking forward to getting to know the boats both on the water and through existing Stabicraft customers.”
Stabicraft Marine Australasian sales manager Sean McColl said the experience and market presence of Northside Marine in the southeast Queensland area was a key factor in the appointment.
“We’re very pleased to see Northside Marine now stocking Stabicraft in the south east Queensland region. Having Greg and his team join us, will give us further reach into an important Australian market.”
“Between Greg and the team, Northside Marine has over 345 years experience in the marine industry and with guys like Bill Hull and Jason Comino in their ranks, we feel they will fit well with the Stabicraft family.”
The appointment of Northside Marine takes the number of Australian Stabicraft dealers to 14 and sees its total global dealer network grow to 32 with dealerships in New Caledonia and the United States.
McColl also said that besides dealer numbers expanding, the company is also seeing growth at its Invercargill, New Zealand, factory.
“Here in Invercargill we have recently expanded our design department, by employing two new design members, bringing the number of designers to six as well as the addition of a further four staff members to the factory floor with more to follow.”
“The increased staff numbers will give the company more technical ability and will increase our production capacity to meet the demand that we are experiencing.”
LOWRANCE last week launched its Elite 4 and Mark 4 sounder and sounder/GPS combo units in a media event held at Narabeen Lake north of Sydney.
