Savage range revitalised

SAVAGE Boats is today holding a media event on the Gold Coast where it unveiled a series of updates and fresh new look across its aluminium boat range.

The unveiling includes Savage's new Ultra Lift Hull, which will be available across many of its boat models. The new hull incorporates a deeper 13.5 degree deadrise and a 15 per cent increase its reverse chine for added stability and better overall ride.

The new updated range includes: 385 Big Boy; 435 Kava; 525 Safari; 435 and 445 Piranha; and the 385 and 445 Jabiru Pro. All models now feature plate aluminium sides and fresh graphics.

Savage now has 38 boats across its range including fibreglass models. The company said it has dropped its fibreglass top deck models and announced plans to manufacture a range of fibreglass fishing boats.

Savage national account manager Cameron Wood said the company is planning to re-establish Savage as one of the country's leading aluminium boat brands.

"We want to market Savage as a unique brand, not just another Telwater manufactured brand," said Wood on the Gold Coast today.

Stay tuned for more updates.
