LEADING underwater lighting specialist Aqualuma has announced R Electronics as its latest distributor. The deal will see R Electronics solely using Aqualuma’s products for its underwater lighting needs.
The deal means all new Riviera boats will feature only Aqualuma lights. This serves as a yet another endorsement for Aqualuma’s market-leading underwater light range.
Aqualuma’s director Carl Amor said the deal as a union of two high-quality iconic Australian products.
“We are now the sole supplier of underwater lighting to R Marine. Whilst we have been selling underwater lights to Riviera for the past four years, we are very excited that they have decided to make us their exclusive and only underwater light,” said Amor.
“Riviera is an iconic Australian brand and has a very high-quality product. We like to associate ourselves with like brands. This is further acknowledgment of Aqualuma’s world-leading technology, quality, service and back-up. R Electronics has recognised they can get all this from one place and that’s why they’ve signed with us exclusively.”
Errol Cain MD of R Electronics is said to be thrilled about the deal and said Aqualuma’s lights are not only a superior and reliable product, they are also internally serviceable, making them the only underwater lights where the boat doesn’t need to be hauled for underwater light services or repairs.
“The Aqualuma lights are a very easy product to deal with as you can simply fit them and forget them,” said Cain.
“Other lights require three or six month internal maintenance. Aqualuma use a one-piece housing so there is never the possibility for an internal leak. There are no gaskets or O-rings to seal the lens and housing.
“There are several reasons that Aqualuma is our light of choice, including, but not limited to the fact they are one of the brightest lights available, they offer great value for money, are in a one-piece nylon polymer housing, they require zero internal maintenance, and there are no warranty issues, which means peace of mind with our customers.”
