Nexus takes on exclusive distribution

NEXUS Australia has announced it will be taking over the responsibility for the exclusive distribution of Nexus Instruments in the Australian market, effective immediately.

Nexus thanked Oceantalk Pty Ltd for its support of the Nexus brand over the past years.

Nexus Australia is a trading entity of Kiwi Yachting Consultants Ltd a New Zealand based company owned by Dean Barker and Richard Macalister. It is also majority owners of Nexus AB based in Sweden. Kiwi Yachting Consultants have been distributing quality brands within the NZ market for over 25 years and have extensive knowledge in the use and support of marine electronics.

Nexus manufacturers three ranges of performance sailing instruments and an autopilot designed for sailboats. The NX range features a wireless wind option. The NX2 and NXR use a high speed server catering for the larger cruising yacht through to the high end racer. Nexus AB also distribute high quality binoculars, headlamps and Silva compasses.

Nexus instruments have been selected as the exclusive supplier of electronics by several high profile projects in the last year: The Tour de France à la Voile M34 race boat, the new Georgia 52’ and the 62m super yacht Duality currently under build at Alloy yachts.
