New Tallon and Ram Mount partnership in Australia

TALLON has formed a new partnership with the Australian Ram Mount distributor, Southern Insight.

Southern Insight is now distributing the Tallon mounting sockets and accessories alongside its range of Ram Mount solutions.

Southern Insight MD Paul Bakker says being able to distribute the Tallon range will further enhance the Ram Mount offering.

“Ram Mount have a mount for nearly everything. Being able to sell Tallon sockets, particularly the Elite Socket alongside what we currently do will allow us to cover a massive spectrum of mounting and powering solutions for multiple markets.”

A partnership between Tallon Systems and US based RAM Mount, enables any model of the widely popular tablet or Smart Phone to be easily attached to the Tallon Elite Socket, while also providing power to the device using the USB port charger and the ability to communicate with other electronic devices on board such as computers, stereo’s and DVD players.

Bakker said one of the hot new products recently released is the new Tallon Elite Socket with Lowrance connectivity.

“Tallon has recently joined with Lowrance, and we now see the Mark & Elite Series of Lowrance fish finder units enabled to seamlessly connect with the Elite Socket.”

The Tallon Elite Socket can be fitted virtually anywhere on a boat, and is wired to the Lowrance transducer and comes with a 12V socket as standard. It lets users simply attach their Lowrance Mark & Elite Series units to RAM mounts and plug them in to a flush Tallon Elite Socket in seconds.

“We now have a one stop shop for every connection you need, for mounting, powering and providing data to a vast array of accessories. This Tallon Elite Socket is the perfect partner for the iPad mount, and more importantly, the Tallon Elite Socket will work just as well in your boat, vehicle or home.”
