Boat hire company introduces new owners to North Queensland franchise.

National boat hire company Boab Boats has announced that its North Queensland Cairns franchise will be operating under new ownership.

“We are excited to welcome the new owners, Andrew and Jacquie Courtnell, to our Cairns location,” said Boab Boats director, Anthony Gelfius. “Boab Boats thrives off hard working and energetic individuals to bring our brand to life.”

“Cairns is well-known for its fantastic fishing prospects, both recreational and sporting, teamed with spectacular waterways for sporting activities and snorkelling. It is the ideal location for boat hire.”

New owners Andrew and Jacquie Courtnell said they were thrilled to join Boab Boats in late 2016, right in time for the summer rush.

“My wife and I are both keen scuba divers, we even went scuba diving after our wedding ceremony. Being around the water is natural and owning a Boab Boats franchise allows us to work in an environment that suits not only our passion but lifestyle,” said Andrew Courtnell.

“Cairns is an extremely popular tourist destination. Boat hire at this location allows our customers to travel without the hassle of lugging their boat along and if a customer doesn’t own a boat, they are able to hire one, stress free.

“With a well-established customer base and a location that sells itself, we feel we are positioned to make a major splash in the boat hire industry, here in Cairns.”
