NAUTILUS Marine has announced the launch of its Master Mariner Insurance policy, a new product designed specifically for the luxury cruiser and yacht market.
Master Mariner from Nautilus Marine has a number of unique and useful policy benefits. Some key features and benefits are: Personal effects cover up to $40,000 (which include watches, jewellery, cameras, laptops, mobile phone etc.), repairers negligence, latent defect and automatic water skiers extension for the tender that belongs to the main vessel.
Nautilus Marine combines the new Master Mariner policy with the new on-line agreed value facility which can be access by a broker representing a boat owner. With an agreed value determined with Nautilus Marine, there is no longer any need for the boat owner to incur the costs associated with obtaining a valuer’s report.
An agreed value established on the vessel at the time of placing the Master Mariner policy removes all issues regarding the value at the time of making a claim.
The Master Mariner policy is specifically tailored for boats valued at $750,000 and over.
“The Master Mariner policy has been designed specifically to meet the owner’s needs for luxury cruisers, game boats and yachts,” said Nautilus Marine marketing manager Mark Crockford.
LOWRANCE last week launched its Elite 4 and Mark 4 sounder and sounder/GPS combo units in a media event held at Narabeen Lake north of Sydney.
