TOWNSVILLE-based Motor Marine celebrates 35 successful years in the marine industry and has been supplying the people of North Queensland with quality boats, outboards, marine accessories and fishing gear since 1976.
Owners Tony and Santina Tantillo have endeavoured to deliver quality products and personal service to all of their customers and have forged a reputation as being one of the North’s leading marine dealers.
Stacer national account manager Drew Jackson is very happy to see the success Motor Marine has chieved over the years, especially since 2005 when they became an authorised Stacer dealer.
“Motor Marine is a great example of a family business, with Tony and Santina Tantillo, daughter Francesca and husband Andre and son Sam all working in the business,” said Jackson.
“They recently won the 2010-2011 Queensland Stacer Dealer of the Year and run some great advertising in their region and always feature a strong display of Stacer at the Townsville Boat Show so they are definitely an asset.”
Dealer principal Tony Tantillo is very proud his business has reached the 35 year mark and said Motor Marine is and will be committed to the marine industry for many more years to come.
“Whilst the past has been vital in formulating our company’s strong profile, our operation is firmly focused on the future and the growth opportunities that exist here," said Tantillo.
"With other major cities suffering from the economic downturn, Townsville continues to grow, making it a rare and unique city,” said Tony.
“It is imperative to keep up standards expected from a 35 year old business and continue to work on the training needs of staff, keeping them in touch with all the latest technology and new boating innovations.”
To celebrate its 35th birthday, Motor Marine will be holding an in-house show in early December where they will have the latest Stacer models on offer along with the team’s award winning knowledge and service.
LOWRANCE last week launched its Elite 4 and Mark 4 sounder and sounder/GPS combo units in a media event held at Narabeen Lake north of Sydney.
