Lockwood joins Boatsales and BoatPoint

DAVID Lockwood has joined the boatsales.com.au and BoatPoint.com.au crew as the group’s new marine editor.

Lockwood takes over from Geoff Middleton who has accepted an expanded role across carsales.com Ltd's wider network of editorial sites.

Lockwood has reported on the marine and fishing industries for more than 20 years. He is also acknowledged as one of the country’s most experienced boat testers.
 
Carsales.com Ltd editor-in-chief Mike Sinclair said the addition of David, and Geoff's expanded role, are key steps in the evolution of the company's wider editorial footprint.
 
"David brings to boatsales and BoatPoint a strong suite of editorial skills and very extensive knowledge of the marine marketplace," said Sinclair.
 
"David has tested every major new boat model that's hit the Australian market in the last decade or more. He also has a strong appreciation of the challenges facing boat brands and businesses Down Under.
 
"We're very pleased to have been able to secure David's expertise and knowledge. It complements our existing team and will translate to more extensive coverage right across the marine spectrum.
