Hobie announces new staff members

HOBIE Cat Australasia has announced three new staff members to the Hobie factory team - Tony Lim, Bob Findlay and Jim Barrie.

Tony Lim and Bob Findlay, both locals in the Jervis Bay area, now head up the Hobie Cat Australasia Media Department.

Bob and Tony have previously had a long term relationship with Hobie Cat, working freelance on media related projects, and have now joined the Hobie team full time.

The Media Department will be covering areas such as graphic design, print media, video, website design and maintenance, social media sites, You Tube, photography and other promotional items and avenues.

Numerous press releases, newspaper articles, radio interviews and television news reports were organised by the Media team for the recent 1st Daiwa Hobie Kayak Fishing World Championships.

They created a dedicated website for the World Championship (hobieworlds.com) and updated it live throughout the event. Facebook (facebook.com/hobie.fishing.australasia) was updated daily with information and championship photos, great for both those who attended and those watching from afar.
