Harken announces new Australian MD

HARKEN Yacht Equipment has named marine industry veteran James van Roon as managing director of Harken Australia.

Harken said his experience, dedication, and enthusiasm of the current Harken Australia team, will help the company expand its market share and develop new opportunities in this important sailing nation.

Van Roon's previous positions included employment with Ronstan International and Doyle Sailmakers.

“We can’t think of a better fit,” said Global CEO Giampaolo Spera.
