Haines Hunter appoints exclusive Tassie dealer

HAINES Hunter has appointed Deegan Marine as Tasmania’s exclusive dealer for its award-winning range of fibreglass fishing/pleasure boats.

Based in Ulverstone, the family-owned and operated Deegan Marine has been meeting the demands of Tasmania’s boating community for nearly 40 years – winning numerous awards for excellence in the process.

Haines Hunter director John Haber said the appointment of the Apple Isle’s leading marine retailer as an exclusive dealer was part of a national review of the brand’s dealer network.

“Over the past 12 months we’ve looked at every area of our business, from our lean manufacturing processes through to our retail representation, to further improve our business and cement our position as Australia’s premier trailerable fibreglass boat brand,” Haber said.

“While producing the highest-quality fibreglass boats in the country is a core focus, it’s equally important the brand is represented in the best possible light – and we’re very excited to have Deegan Marine onboard to help us achieve that.”
