Furuno NavPilot 700 series

FURUNO introduces the latest addition to its range of popular NavPilot 500/600 series autopilots.

The NavPilot 700 utilises the latest in NMEA2000 connectivity, self-learning and adaptive software algorithms, stylish and simple mounting with sunlight viewable displays.

The NavPilot 700 has a completely new processor with outputs for NMEA2000 (CAN Bus) and NMEA0183. Keeping with the versatile range of control units, the NavPilot 700 series is available in the very popular 1DIN size NavPilot711, the 2DIN NavPilot700 with the large display and the NavPilot 720 handheld.

The user customisable display allows the operator to select digital and analogue graphic data that best suits their personal preferences. A quick glance of the NavPilot display will keep the operator updated with all critical information.

FISH HUNTER MODE is a unique feature that allows the operator to automatically steer the vessel along one of the many pre-programmed search patterns around a waypoint, fish school or trolling pattern. The NavPilot 700 series also features ADVANCED MODE which consistently maintains the desired heading whilst compensating for the effects of wind and current. Compensation against wind and current is also available in NAV / ROUTING MODES allowing the vessel to navigate in full NAV MODE whilst the NavPilot automatically compensates for cross track error caused by cross winds and currents.

Sailing vessels feature highly on the list auto features. WIND MODE consistently maintains the desired heading toward true or apparent wind direction whilst compensating for shifts in the wind direction and  currents. (Note: Furuno FI-50 wind sensor required for WIND MODE)
