Luxury motor yacht builder Elandra Yachts has relocated its NSW base to the Sydney Superyacht Marina (SSM) at Rozelle Bay in Sydney.

Chris Hills of Australian Boat Sales – Elandra’s representative in Sydney Harbour – said the new positioning will allow for greater reach within the NSW market, which had already delivered a number of sales to the semi-custom boat builder following its maiden showing at the Sydney International Boat Show this year.

Australian Boat Sales had relocated its headquarters from Birkenhead Marina and will open its new office at SSM this month.

“Moving the Elandra sales office to the Sydney Superyacht Marina is an exciting move to one of the most prestigious harbourside locations,” he said.

“With a $30 million redevelopment currently underway, the Superyacht Marina at Rozelle Bay will be the perfect fit for Elandra Yachts. We will soon be able to offer our customers easy access parking, restaurants, bars, secure marina berthing, all within five minutes drive of the Sydney CBD.”

The move follows the news that catamaran sales agent, Multihull Solutions, is also setting up a new sales office at the marina.

Elandra Yachts managing director Luke Durman said the move placed the brand at the hub of the region’s growing luxury vessel market.

“We have developed a true long-range cruising motor yacht which has been met with much enthusiasm from buyers in NSW, where there is a real sense of optimism in the market on the back of the state’s strong economy,” he said.

“The Elandra 53 was designed and built to superyacht quality, delivering superior performance, reliability and extended durability. It is ideally suited to the owner who wants to stay aboard and cruise the beautiful waterways of Sydney Harbour, Pittwater and way beyond, whether for a day, a weekend or a week with friends.”

The current redevelopment of the Sydney Superyacht Marina, due to be completed late next year, will see the facility expand to more than 7,000 sqm.
