Cunningham's Marine strengthens ties with Mercury

BRISBANE dealership Cunningham’s Marine is once again a single brand operation – selling Mercury Marine engines.

“I made the change to simplify my business,” company founder Bruce Cunningham said.

“I’ve been a Mercury dealer for years and years, and I love dealing with Mercury. The team in Brisbane is sensational and since the change back to just Mercury, things have been fantastic.

“We’re a big dealership with a lot of customers and Mercury has everything we need.”

Cunningham’s new site – opened just four years ago – offers more than 7,000 square metres of outdoor and undercover showroom space as well as a full marine chandlery store.

“Queensland boaties far and wide know Cunningham’s, so we’re thrilled that Bruce and his team have decided that Mercury’s the best brand for the future of their business,” said Glen Eadie, Mercury’s regional manager - Queensland & Northern Territory.

“When it comes to engines, we can simply offer more things to more people. Take our new 150hp FourStroke – lightweight, powerful and super reliable. It just can’t be touched by any other manufacturer.”

Bruce’s decision has also been warmly welcomed by John Temple, Mercury’s general manager for the Australia, New Zealand and Pacific region.
