Club Marine expands PWC coverage
Club Marine adds 'new for old' replacement cover for jet-skis up to two years old.
Recreational boating insurer, Club Marine, has announced a range of upgrades to its Personal Water Craft (PWC) insurance policies.
PWC cover now includes 'new for old' replacement of a PWC following a total loss within the first two years of registration.
It also includes comprehensive cover for damage to the motor and electrical components as a result of water entering the motor ($5,000 excess applies) and a 'genuine parts' guarantee whereby if any damaged parts are unable to be fixed they will be replaced with genuine parts.
For PWC users who tow water-skiers, the policy's cover now extends to all skiers at no extra cost.
Club Marine CEO Simon McLean said the enhancements will add value to members’ PWC cover at no additional cost when they next renew their policy.
“We’re committed to the continual improvement of our products and to ensuring our members can enjoy their time on the water knowing they’re protected by the best insurance products available,” he said.
“We’re excited to offer this great new insurance product to our PWC customers and believe it’s the ideal policy for owners looking for a reliable, quality product at a competitive price. As Australia’s largest recreational boat insurance specialist with more than 45 years’ experience, we have consulted with an extensive network of industry experts and believe we now have the best PWC product on the market.
“Our members just want to have a great time aboard their ski and, with our new PWC cover, they can rest assured that should something go wrong, they’re backed by Australia’s market leader and we’ll do all we can to ensure every trip is an enjoyable one.”
