BIASA supports Club Marine SA Boat & Fishing Show

THE Club Marine SA Boat & Fishing Show, now in its third year, has received the endorsement of the BIASA as a “complementary industry event”.

Show director Ian Digby said he is extremely pleased to be associated with the BIASA, saying it is important for the Show to be given such recognition.

“The BIASA has been working with the Club Marine SA Boat & Fishing Show since last year, and we are looking forward to a long partnership,” Digby said.

“It is important for both parties to have this strong connection, and we are looking forward to working together for the good of the industry. The Show is used as an avenue to promote boating and fishing in the community, and is a valuable marketing and selling tool for the industry.”

“Having the support and endorsement of the BIASA helps assure the Show’s longevity and gives it a great boost for further growth and development. We had an increase of visitors in 2011 – with 13,000 people attending across the weekend, a 22% increase on numbers from 2010; which is significant in that it shows we are presenting an event that the people want,” Digby said.

Glen Jones GM of the BIASA said he was looking forward to a long working relationship with the Club Marine SA Boat & Fishing Show.

“BIASA promotes holiday and recreational boating and related marine activities as safe, environmentally sound and responsible past-times for all members of the community,” Jones said.
