Arvor releases new Weekender

THE launch of the new Arvor Weekender completes the Arvor range with a family/fishing cruiser.

“This is a boat that customers have been calling for, particularly wives,” said Arvor Australia GM Peter Collins.

The Arvor Weekender semi-planning hull is a derivative of the famous Arvor range, maintaining the same sea keeping qualities, combining stability and performance. The high topside equates to a dry ride.

It couldn’t be a Weekender without the benefit of a larger, more luxurious cabin. Its neat arrangement provides a large vee berth, convertible dinette, workable galley with 12-volt fridge, a gas stove, private head compartment & two sinks with pressurised water.

The large windows allow light to flood in but keep out the rain and icy wind. Occupants can enjoy boating 12 months of the year on any waterway.

Walking outside the cabins sliding doors, you will be able to relax in style. Whether you choose to drop a line, entertain friends, or enjoy an afternoon siesta on the folding sun bed, the large cockpit is synonymous with Arvor, giving you the luxury of fulfilling your boating needs.

Where its stable mates are internationally renowned primarily as day fishing boats, this model has a softer side to pamper and impress the fairer sex.  After a day’s fishing and cruising it’s time to head for a sheltered cove and drop anchor for the night.

“It ticks all the critical Arvor boxes – diesel, shaft drive, lockable cabin, self-draining cockpit, walk-around decks – while also allowing owners to sleep aboard with their family and friends”.

It sports a single Cummins CMD 150hp diesel, mid-mounted for superior balance and driving a shaft for ultimate reliability. Top speed is 22 knots and fuel economy is something petrol outboards and stern drives can only dream about.

Whilst being made to live in the water, the Weekender has the benefit of being trailerable, giving you the luxury of being able to explore any or every part of Australia’s coastline.

The first Arvor Weekender is due to arrive in Australian water this month. The standard price is below $115,000.
