Sydney-based charter boat company, Any Boat, maintained its winning ways at the recent NSW Business Chamber awards picking up the overall Regional Business Of The Year award.

The award recognises the best of the best amongst the award winners and follows on from the company becoming the first business ever to win the Excellence In Small Business award two years in a row. It also won the Excellence in Workplace Inclusion award.

Any Boat founder and managing director, Daniel Da Silva, said he was elated to hear the name of his business being announced and proudly accepted the awards on behalf of the team.

“To think that of all the businesses that entered, a charter boat agency in Lavender Bay won three awards and was the first business ever to win the Small Business Excellence award two years in a row, and take out Regional Business of The Year is mind boggling” he said.

“The marine industry is a critical part of Sydney’s economy and culture and as proud as I am to have won the three awards, I am even more proud to be shining light on an industry that I love so much.

“You have to love what you do, and I am so in love with the marine industry and Sydney Harbour in general that for me, it doesn’t even feel like work most of the time.”

Da Silva was also a finalist in the Business Leader category at the awards. Any Boat will now progress to the NSW Business Chamber State Awards in November held at Luna Park.
