Open day will showcase Sydney marina's transformation and new facilities.

Sydney boaters are invited to inspect the new-look d’Albora Marina at Akuna Bay in the Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park this coming weekend as part of an open day event due to be held from 13-14 April, 2019.

In recent months, the marina has undergone a transformation with the opening of a new restaurant called SHED, a boat brokerage, members’ lounge and boatyard.

Boaters and locals alike will get the chance to inspect the new facilities and enjoy a range of open day activities over the weekend, including the school holiday specials and new menu at SHED.

There will be live music and kids entertainment including a marshmallow roasting station, face painting and the opportunity to get aboard some Rural Fire Service trucks.

The team from Beaches Sea-Doo will be on site with exclusive open day deals and the opportunity to test drive some of their latest models. There will also be a number of boats on display for sale, and boaters will be able to meet the local broker and organise a complimentary valuation.

Boaters can also check out the marina specials on offer at the full service boatyard which provides lifting, washing, and anti-fouling services for boaters on Pittwater and the Hawkesbury.

For those without their own boat, the marina now has a small fleet of boats available for hire to explore Akuna Bay and beyond.
