Mustang thinks big

Mustang has released the latest information and concept imagery for its first foray into the 50’ plus boating segment. The new 500 Sports Coupe and 550 Sports Euro have already achieved a number of sales, with the 550 Sports Euro to debut at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show and the 500 Sports Cruiser to premier at the Sydney International Boat Show in August, 2010.

Both boats, currently in production at the Australian boat manufacturers Gold Coast facility, will include a range of features never before seen on a Mustang with a sleek European inspired design and layout.

Entertaining is a key feature of the design with both including roomy foredeck entertaining areas, well laid out cockpits, stylish saloons, with the Euro to include a spacious Eurobridge with sun lounges and a BBQ. As with all of the latest releases from Mustang, the new boats will include fingerprint recognition ignition, touch screen AC/DC control and as a first, both boats will include triple Volvo IPS engines with joystick docking controls.

European styling and functionality extends below decks with both featuring full beam master staterooms with large hull windows to allow natural light; optional crew quarters are available as an additional feature. A full tender garage is accessed from the hydraulic swim platform, leading to the well laid out cockpit entertaining area.
