Jeanneau Sun Oddyssey 409 wins top award
THE all new Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 409 has just been awarded the prestigious European Yacht of the Year award at the opening weekend of the Dusseldorf Boat Show.
The SO409 won the category for “family cruisers” which is judged by a panel of the editors and test managers of the leading yachting magazines in Europe.
The panel assesses performance, comfort, construction quality, price-performance ratio, design and unique selling features. Other yachts nominated in this primary yachting category were the Bavaria Cruiser 45, the Beneteau Oceanis 58, the Comet 26, and the Hanse 445.
The first Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 409 arrived in Australia in February.
