Stabicraft Marine’s new release 2150 Supercab made its Australian debut at the Melbourne Boat Show this month.
The stylish head turner proved a winner in New Zealand where it shared first prize in the 6-7m category at the New Zealand Boat Show in Auckland in May.
The 2150 Supercab is a ground-up new model that has more in common with its big brother, the 2250 Supercab, launched last year, than the 609 Supercab it replaces in the Stabicraft Marine line-up.
This is a true performer with the GIII handling that delivers better on-water performance and increased internal beam than its predecessor without compromising on the safety and stability that have been the company hall-marks since 1987.
With 4m2 of deck space and an impressive 1655 litres of storage capacity is the 2150SC is a fisherman’s dream. Stabicraft trademark positive buoyancy remains at 2000 litres – so life-ring security remains intact.
At 6.7 metres in length the 2150 is 500mm longer than its predecessor; and in Australia comes standard Stabicraft’s multipod, catering for either single or twin motor set-ups, hydraulic steering and 190litre underfloor fish-bin with waste pump.
Long roof overhang for protection from the elements is standard, with the option of a rear curtain which may be useful in cooler climates.
LOWRANCE last week launched its Elite 4 and Mark 4 sounder and sounder/GPS combo units in a media event held at Narabeen Lake north of Sydney.
